“Whatever will address the issue of corruption in our country and if it has worked elsewhere in combating such culture, we are for it.” This is the extent Nigeria has come. It is not just about killing people as a punishment; but rather it reflects the pain experienced when all other means to stop the never ending grand corruption scams fail. When this happens, a country gets to the point where pressure groups call on the legislature saying; better a death penalty for most severe corruption scams.  This is happening in Nigeria, where pressure groups mostly under the umbrella of Labor advocates are citing real data from Republicof China, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore who deploy death penalty to curb corruption, as evidence for their case.
