Some of the reasons Rwanda, the 4th least corrupt country in Africa, has succeeded in addressing corruption include: (1) Wealth declaration law requires all public officials including the president to declare their assets before assuming a public office, on 30th of June every year, and before leaving a public office. (2) Apart from Anti-corruption Agencies, Rwanda’s anti-corruption laws requires and obligates every institution to address corruption within its jurisdiction. This has promoted a synergy of inter-organizational network to effectively tackle corruption. http://www.newtimes.co.rw/section/article/2016-08-18/202704/
